Mistfall Hunter System Requirements

Updated 2026-08-02

On this page

Mistfall Hunter's official PC system requirements are published on its Steam listing. The minimum spec calls for a Windows 10 64-bit system with an Intel i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 12 GB RAM, and a GTX 1060 or RX 580. The recommended spec steps up to an i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM, and an RTX 2070 or RX 5700 XT. Both tiers list DirectX 12, broadband Internet, and 45 GB of storage.

The Steam listing also strongly recommends an SSD for a better experience, but it does not publish an HDD benchmark to compare against.

What the Official Specs Leave Unstated

The published requirements do not include a target frame rate, resolution, or graphics preset for either tier. They also do not state a VRAM amount for the listed GPUs. The absence of a stated frame-rate or resolution target means neither tier should be read as a guaranteed performance level.

Both tiers list Windows 10 64-bit as the operating system. The cited official sources do not establish native Linux, macOS, or Steam Deck support.

Pre-Launch Performance Notes

A pre-launch developer update, DevNote #7, describes optimization work in several areas: shader precompilation, device tiering, console, low-end-PC performance, 2K/4K resolution, camp frame rate, and inventory/map responsiveness.

The update notes that actual performance improvements vary by hardware configuration and system environment. It also does not lower or replace the published Steam minimum requirements — the table above remains the official entry point for the game.

For a purchase or upgrade decision, compare the named CPU, RAM, GPU, DirectX, network, and storage requirements directly with your system. Do not treat the developer's low-end-PC optimization statement as confirmation that hardware below the published minimum is supported.
